We've recently received a number of requests from users to be able to download email creatives (screenshots of an email) with one click.
Today we are pleased to say that we've added this new feature to Email Analyst and now with one click you can export up to 20 creatives at a time and save them to your desktop as a .zip.

We've been noticing an interesting trend in the last few weeks here at Email Data Source.
In Email Analyst, the volume of tweets from the 650 Brands that we monitor has almost doubled from before Thanksgiving to post-Thanksgiving.
Pre-Thanksgiving, daily tweet volume was ~ 700 tweets per day, and not it is approaching 1,400 tweets per day.
From a review of the tweets in Email Analyst, I would attribute this to the Holiday Season, and the greater role Twitter is playing by Brands to drive users to on-line sales and promotions.

I'm pleased to announce that yesterday we added the ability to search the Redirect URL stream
via our API for the 700,000+ email campaigns we collect each month.
Note for existing Email Analyst Users:This functionality is already available in Email Analyst. A number of our API customers have been asking for this functionality and now it is live :)

Now you can enter an affiliate ID, offer ID or any other tracking code that maybe embedded in the Redirect URL stream (click-stream) and see any emails that match that criteria.

For example, if I use AFID to track all of my affiliates, I could enter AFID=5160 to see all of the emails in the Email Analyst system that match.
This is very handy for users who work with affiliate networks and need to monitor the emails or creative that a particular affiliate is using.
Additional documentation is available on our API site:

Today we are pleased to be adding three new features to Email Analyst.
1. Redirect URL/Query Search
2. Saved Searches
3. Header Search
These features will allow many ESPs and customers to track email activity better; let me take a moment to review Redirect URL/Query search. I will be covering Saved Searches and Header Search in my next blog post.
Redirect URL/Query Search Redirect URL/Query Search allows a user to search for specific text within the redirect stream (click stream). Most emails have between five and 30 links embedded within each email. Each of these links can then be "redirected" through multiple servers before landing at a final destination.
Typically, within the realm of email marketing, these servers can actually be thought of as little revenue generation machines which collect a toll for the traffic that passes through them.
The final destination is typically an offer that is presented to a user with the hope of a purchase or some type of transaction taking place.
Previously, we could search the redirect stream for just domains, but now we can search the entire URL string. This can be a very handy tool to a marketer as you can search for specific affiliate or offer id's that your affiliates have embedded within the redirect stream.
We currently have redirect URL/Query data from the middle of May 2009 onward.
If you have access to Email Analyst and want to run this tool, please make sure you constrain your search as much as possible. We currently have over 220 million redirect urls in our system (since May 2009).
The more criteria you add (such as a date range, redirect domain and redirect URL string) will help narrow the number of emails that match and reduce the chance of a timeout).
We added Saved Searches to Email Analyst last week.
Here is a quick overview of Saved Searches.
Saved SearchesSaved Searches allow you to select any type of query on the email search page and then save it so it can be run easily with one-click access.
For example, lets say you run a regular query looking for companies that use PowerMta as a MTA (mail server).
Instead of having to recreate this query each day, just go to the email search page and enter in PowerMta (and any other criteria you would like to search for) and then name your search in the box below.

The next time you run a search you will be see your saved search on the left side of the screen and will be able to run your search with just one-click.
